The Delivery Driver & Yard Attendant is responsible for assisting customers with loading and unloading new, used and rental equipment. This role is also responsible for maintaining an orderly and clean yard. Success in this position is heavily dependent upon excellent customer service skills, the ability to operate a wide variety of construction equipment and the ability to respond quickly to requests for assistance. Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm (plus possible seasonal Saturdays 8a-12p), Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour.
What You'll Do:
- Pick up and deliver equipment to and from customer sites in a safe and timely manner using company truck and trailer
- Operate various types of compact construction equipment around the yard
- Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe
- Support other team members with general tasks and requests
- Maintain company standards for safety and cleanliness
- Help clean and maintain equipment and the facility
- Participate in ongoing training and development
What We're Looking For:
- Experience operating Bobcat or similar compact equipment
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
- Reliable transportation
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- DOT Health Card (or ability to obtain one)
- Class A CDL is a plus
