A proven leader in the industry for 40 years with 5 locations, is looking to hire a Field Service Technician Mechanic to service and repair an extensive line of compact, forestry and grounds equipment. Success in this position is heavily dependent upon strong mechanical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision. Get paid $28.50 - $40.00 per hour plus overtime for your experience and strong mechanical skills! NO WEEKENDS - Monday - Friday, 7 : 30 am - 4 : 00 pm with some variability due to customer needs. Burnsville location.
Essential Functions :
- Diagnose and repair equipment as needed
- Perform required preventive maintenance
- Communicate job progress to service manager
- Inspect and test equipment when work completed
- Obtain or order parts needed for repairs
- Check work orders for complete and accurate descriptions of work performed and proper parts and labor is accounted for
- Work safely and independently with little supervision
- Maintain company safety standards
- Willing to participate in all training programs, including limited out of state training and keep current on new equipment updates
