Parts Counter Associate (Floating)

We are currently seeking a Parts Counter Associate to provide support to walk in customers, shop technicians and customers over the phone. This role will be primarily based in our Little Canada, MN and Hudson, WI locations (2-3 days per week at each location), with some flexibility to travel to our other sites.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service, has a strong attention to detail that can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience working in a parts department or a similar role, then come and join our fun team!

This is a full-time position, M-F 8 am - 5 pm, no evenings. Great pay $23.00-$26.00 per hour - plus overtime and benefits!

Position Responsibilities

• Provide customers with price quotes, availability and technical information on parts in a friendly and professional manner
• Ability to multi-task and transition easily between the parts inventories of multiple lines of equipment
• Receive daily and weekly parts orders by verifying part numbers and quantities and allocate them to the proper bin location, customer or service technician
• Answer phone calls and texts from customers and other associates and provide excellent service
• Maintain a clean and organized parts storage area, parts counter and showroom display area
• Assist purchasing manager with inventory-related projects
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous parts counter experience
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate several product sites
• Superior customer service and negotiation skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
• Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Willingness to travel between Tri-State Bobcat locations to meet business coverage requirements
