What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dentist position at Tri State Community Health Center?
FQHC looking for a Dentist/Dental Director with a passion for people and a desire to care for the less fortunate of our society. As the Dentist/Dental Director, you will have considerable autonomy in directing the clinic and staff, supervising the Dental Assistant(s), Dental Hygienist(s), and Dental Receptionist(s) as assigned. Our clinic is also an affiliate with the University of Tennessee and as such, the Dental Director will also be in a teaching position for rotating dental and hygiene students from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and dental assistants from Concorde Career College. The Director will provide routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis and treatment plans, general restorative procedures, crown and bridge, removable prosthedontics, and minor oral surgery. This is a terrific low stress position for variety, autonomy, growth, and personal satisfaction. The dental clinic and equipment is less than 2 years old.
