We are looking for a reliable LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)/Medical Assistant to care for our rural community. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or a Doctor. LPN/MA professional must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding. Tri-State offers a great work life balance. Set schedule Monday thru Friday, off Holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Update and file medical records and insurance reports
- Assist during medical examinations
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Skills
- Proven working experience as a LPN or Medical Nurse.
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in practice management software
- Degree in Practical Nursing or Certification of Medical Assistant 2 year program
