We're looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team and contribute to our sales success. In this role, you'll be a vital link between our customers and our extensive product offerings, handling inquiries, providing quotes, and processing orders.
Our Inside Sales Reps work several different angles within the company. They handle answering incoming phone and email inquiries, researching products, quoting, and turning quotes into sales. They will assist outside sales reps with quoting and ordering parts, and they will make outbound calls to previous customers for potential follow-up parts business. They are also responsible for maintaining excellent working relationships with our vendor and partner network to meet company and customer needs.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Handling Customer Inquiries: Respond to incoming phone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Quoting and Order Processing: Accurately research and verify product pricing, apply discounts, and provide detailed quotes to customers with clear delivery terms.
- Sales Support: Assist outside sales representatives with quoting and ordering parts, ensuring smooth order processing.
- Outbound Communication: Make outbound calls to existing and past customers to generate potential parts business.
- Product Knowledge: Determine customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions, including providing technical sales information.
- Internal Collaboration: Work with internal divisions to order parts for new equipment builds.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain regular communication with customers and follow up on outstanding quotes.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in an industrial parts or materials environment.
- Ability to learn and understand technical product specifications and pricing.
- Experience entering sales orders into internal systems with speed and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to calculate discounts and percentages accurately.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with product pricing and quoting.
- Ability to learn and understand the pricing structures of parts and equipment.
