Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide primary healthcare services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Perform physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards.
- Participate in family planning discussions and provide relevant resources.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with medical advancements.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical-surgical nursing practices.
- Experience in sterile processing techniques is preferred.
- Familiarity with memory care practices is advantageous.
- Previous experience working with children is a plus.
- Must be a certified DOT examiner, or be willing to pass the NRCME (National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.
