Participates in key substantive discussions and supports decisions. Actively monitors performance against budget to identify variances and improve future execution.Because Tri-State is an electric utility with continuous service obligations to its customers, regular, reliable, and predictable performance of the essential functions and responsibilities is an essential function of the job.Because Tri-State has an obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to its customers, the ability to work overtime at any time of the day or week is considered an essential function of the job.OTHER DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESPerform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications : Education and Training : Bachelor’s degree in business administration, fleet management, administrative services or related area of study, or equivalent experience gained through progressively greater responsibilities.Knowledge, Skills, and Ability : Strong knowledge of utility fleet management including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, vendor relationships, permitting, licensing, and disposal of fleet vehicles and specialized equipment and trailers.Knowledge of regulatory requirements as it applies to Department of Transportation (DOT).Knowledge of administrative services and ability to support administrative functions including but not limited to central records, office services, mail room, and shipping / receiving.Strong facilitation skills and ability to build strong relationships with executive managers, other utilities, external entities, and Members.Strategic long-term planning and goal setting to anticipate future opportunities and issues.Excellent written and verbal communications and the ability to articulate complex ideas to a broad audience.Strong, proven problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems, driving solutions through to completion.Other : Willingness to travel, including overnights, as required to support fleet operations and administrative services which includes training and meetings throughout service territory.
