What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN, CMA and/or CNA - Lewiston Family Practice position at Tri-State Hospital?
TriState Health is looking for a clinical float to support our Family Practice and Specialty Clinics! The applicant chosen will need to be highly motivated and prepared to work in multiple practices in a fast paced environment. Performing various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician, mid-level provider or RN. Duties include but are not limited to obtaining basic assessment information, including vital signs, EKG's, and point of care testing, advocating patients; administering prescribed medications, preparing exam rooms, procedure room and assisting providers, documenting in the patient electronic medical record.
This position receives a premium pay of $2.50 / hour.
Education and Training :
Graduate of accredited LPN program or CMA program.
Licensures / Certifications :
Washington State LPN license required.
- Idaho State LPN license required if traveling between clinics. Certified Medical Assistant License Washington and Idaho.
Current American Heart Association BLS / CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period required.
Experience :
Previous clinic experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities :
Familiarity with medical terminology
