What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pickers Reno - Rollback Tow Driver position at Tri-State Iron & Metal Co?
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS
- Operate rollback / wrecker vehicles
- Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM (weekends if needed)
- Ability to manage time and be efficient in loads per dispatch assignment
- Perform daily pre & post trip inspections of truck
- Ability to hook/unhook equipment
- Ability to safely secure cargo (tarp, strap, chain, climb 6 ft. ladder, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Pickup and delivery of salvage automobiles.
- Ability to communicate in professional manner with customers at pick up/delivery of vehicles.
- Follow all safety rules of the company and customers facilities.
- Compliance with employee handbook and health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- All other duties assigned. (After training period, work will be assigned in office or on yard when runs are not available.
