Responsibilities:
- Perform land surveys of all types including as-built surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and other related tasks.
- Conduct fieldwork using GPS.
- Conduct fieldwork in all weather conditions, including snow and rain.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Maintain the company vehicle and equipment for survey work.
Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Proficiency in operating GPS equipment, and data collectors.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a survey crew.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and challenging terrains.
- Ability to analyze and interpret survey data, field notes, and maps.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate results.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in surveying is a plus.
