What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Tri-State Machine?
Work in all areas of the facility.
- Saftey minded, ability to perform duties safely
- Willing to work in all departments as schedule requires.
- Material handling with forklifts, overhead cranes and other equipment
- Stage, Kit, sort incoming and inventory items to required areas
- Grind, sand, and prepare parts for various operations in the plant.
- Good workplace organization and maintain a clean work area.
- Organize documents for trasfer between different departments as the materials are moved.
Physical Requirements:
· Frequent lifting (up to and including 50 pounds)
· Frequent standing
· Ability to work more than 40 hours in any given week including weekend assignments as required
Experience/Education:
· Some vocational / technical training is desired
