Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed audits of patient care reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Collaborate with EMS personnel to resolve discrepancies or inaccuracies in patient care documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of accurate documentation to facilitate prompt reimbursement from public and private insurance providers.
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of documentation processes.
- Provide feedback and training to EMS staff on documentation best practices and quality improvement opportunities.
- Maintain comprehensive records of audits, findings, and corrective actions taken.
- Stay updated on changes in insurance regulations and requirements affecting documentation and reimbursement processes.
