Position Summary:
We are seeking a Project Designer & Customer Lead to work across both divisions, partnering with customers to design and quote custom metal and art-based projects. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on creative collaboration, is highly organized, and has the technical skills to bring custom ideas into production.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand their vision and translate it into design concepts
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs, and delivering a seamless project delivery from initial inquiry to finished product.
- Create detailed 3D drawings and mockups using Fusion 360 and AutoCAD
- Produce polished presentations and artwork files using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Prepare accurate quotes and manage project timelines from initial inquiry through production
- Work closely with our lead designer and company owners to ensure project quality and consistency
- Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Handle multiple design requests at once while maintaining clear communication with customers
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Fusion 360 and AutoCAD (required)
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Previous experience in a design or customer-facing role is strongly preferred
Schedule & Location:
- Monday to Friday, full-time
- On-site in Florence, Alabama (this is not a remote position)
