What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Phlebotomist position at Tri-State Phlebotomy?
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for traveling to various locations to collect blood samples from patients for medical testing and analysis.
Duties
- Provides all supplies required to perform the service outside of the sample kits provide by PSP. (Example: Gloves, Safety Wear, etc).
- Sterilize Equipment and Clean Workspaces,
- Label and Collect Blood Samples.
- Maintain Records of Blood Samples
- Correctly enter, use, and protect patient information in accordance with all applicable regulation.
- Be available for court testimony when requested by the commonwealth
- Provide verification of completed phlebotomy course or certification
Requirements
- Knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures and practices
- Proficiency in vital signs assessment and specimen collection processing
- Familiarity with anatomy and physiology to facilitate proper venipuncture
- Understanding of laboratory techniques and equipment used in specimen analysis
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to phlebotomize patients of all ages
- Previous experience working in a hospital or laboratory setting is preferred
- Valid Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT) is a plus

Service Level Agreement
-MUST LIVE WITHIN 45 MINUTES OF THE SERVICE LOCATION
-MUST BE ABLE TO ARRIVE TO WITHIN 45 MINUTES ONCE REQUEST IS ACCEPTED.
