The Urology Group is searching for LPN or RN to work as a APCAC Patient Navigator in our Norwood office. This is an administrative position. The hours are full time, Monday-Friday, 8am to 4 : 30pm.
Summary : Responsible for Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic (APCAC) patients
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Handle APCAC referrals to the clinic and follow up to scheduled appointment
- Precertification for Prostate Cancer drugs
- Assist patient with Copay Assistance programs
- Follow patients in advanced prostate cancer clinic
- Assists patient with scheduling appointments, bloodwork, genetic testing, and scans (bone scan, CAT scan, PET, or MRI)
- Maintain Prostate Cancer database
- Maintain spreadsheets for Advanced Prostate Cancer Patients
- Performs other duties as assigned
