What you can expect in this role:
- Assist in Plumbing Installations: Help with the installation of plumbing systems, including water heaters, pipes, fixtures, and valves.
- Repair and Maintenance: Assist in diagnosing plumbing issues, repairing leaks, replacing parts, and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and tasks completed.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients, provide assistance, and address any concerns or questions related to plumbing services.
The skills/experience you'll need to be considered for this role:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in residential plumbing highly preferred (license not required).
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Basic understanding of plumbing concepts.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
