- Site Assessment: Evaluate sites to determine the best location for generator installation, considering space, ventilation, noise, and proximity to electrical panels.
- Generator Installation: Assist in assembling and installing generators, including connecting fuel and electrical lines, and ensuring everything meets safety and building code standards.
- Assist with Fuel System Setup: Work alongside plumbers to help install fuel supply systems (propane or natural gas) and fuel storage components, ensuring proper connection and safety.
- Aid in Testing and Commissioning: Assist in conducting tests to ensure the generator functions correctly, including load testing, voltage checks, and verifying the automatic transfer switch (ATS).
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record.
- Electrical Experience: Minimum of 3 years of electrical experience.
- Electrical License: 4th year apprentice or journeyman license highly preferred.
- Team Player: Ability to work well under supervision and collaborate as part of a team.
- Physical Capability: Able to handle manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy equipment.
