At Tri-State Water, Power & Air, we believe in the power of potential. For over 30 years, we’ve been a trusted provider of innovative home improvement products, and as we continue to grow, we’re expanding our field teams. We offer sales and service for a variety of products, with a primary focus on Whole-Home Standby Generators.

If you're looking to be part of something big and exciting, we’d love to meet you!

Why You'll Love Working with Us:

  • Career Growth: We’re a rapidly expanding company with locations across the Midwest and Mid-South, offering excellent opportunities for career advancement.
  • Full Support: We handle the logistics so you can focus on what you do best. You’ll get mobile punch systems, company-provided uniforms, tools, phone reimbursement, an iPad, and a company truck with paid fuel expenses.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Our extensive benefits package goes beyond major medical coverage, supporting your overall well-being and professional development.

What You’ll Do in This Role:

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, tests, and maintenance to ensure generators run smoothly. You’ll be responsible for checking oil levels, filters, cooling systems, and electrical components.
  • Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair malfunctions, minimizing downtime. You’ll need strong troubleshooting skills across different generator types to solve issues efficiently.
  • Load Testing: Conduct load tests to confirm the generator's ability to handle expected electrical loads, ensuring reliable performance during outages or peak usage periods.
  • Fuel Management: Oversee fuel supplies (natural gas or propane), including fuel quality control, level monitoring, and managing fuel storage to guarantee an uninterrupted power supply.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and tests. Accurate documentation is crucial for tracking performance and meeting regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in residential service work is preferred. Experience with generators or a Generac Certification is a big plus and can lead to higher compensation.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong skills in inspecting structures, marking positions for electrical and plumbing systems, building reliable systems, wiring, and troubleshooting. The ability to perform and plan work, and order materials independently is essential.
  • Customer-Focused: You prioritize customer satisfaction, ensuring clients are happy throughout their entire experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
