Facilities Maintenance Technician
We are currently seeking a part-time hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. If you are skilled in general facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical aptitude, we want to hear from you. Recent retirees looking to stay active and involved are highly encouraged to apply. Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of repair and maintenance tasks for our 25,000 sq. ft. office and 3,500 sq. ft. warehouse facility. Occasional evenings, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Promote daily operation effectiveness by managing general upkeep of facilities which may include repairing fixtures, conducting minor mechanical/electrical/plumbing repairs, and coordinating vendors for repairs and maintenance as appropriate. Ensure that all janitorial issues are addressed.

Manage repairs and maintenance on various fleet vehicles, to include scheduling service and transporting vehicles.

Experience with classic cars a plus

Assist with occasional special event logistics such as setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, tents.

Occasional travel to San Marcos facility as needed to oversee and manage general upkeep of facilities.

Occasional forklift operation.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of office garages to include field crew supply and equipment storage areas.

Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Two years working experience in facility maintenance
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Must be proficient in automotive repairs
- Follow oral and written instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter with good time management skills
- Trustworthy and dependable
- Valid and Current Driver's License
- Must have experience driving a truck with a trailer attached
