Tri‐Tech Engineering, LP is a Houston, Texas based full service civil and structural engineering company providing services to production and custom home builders, commercial builders, developers, architects as well as individuals.
We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator for a position in our San Marcos, TX office. Using independent judgment, the Project Coordinator is responsible for preliminary research/abstracting, managing project submittals, providing applicable associated documentation and submitting plats/plans to various local jurisdictions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Abstracting and Deed Research
- Work with clients on specific project and platting requirement to meet their needs
- Facilitate creation of proposals
- Assist in creating Plats to be recorded in applicable Municipality
- Obtain City Planning letters, tax certificates, title reports, and any other documents needed to record plats with governing municipality
- Organize, plan and attend all city/county council meeting, planning, zoning meeting as needed to obtain plat approval for recordation
- Fill out appropriate documentation for jurisdictional platting and permit submittals
- Obtain all needed signatures for recordation of plats
- Coordinate with Civil Engineer and RPLS as required on all issues needed to assist in the recordation of plats
- Flood zone determination
- Keep open communication with Civil Engineering Manager, clients and applicable employees on issues/status with projects.
- Assist with drafting and technical duties as needed.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of AutoCad a plus but not required
Education & Experience:
- At least 2 years relevant work experience in a civil engineering and/or surveying firm
- High School diploma or its equivalent
