What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL A Beverage Delivery Driver position at Tri-Valley Beverage , Inc.?
What You'll Be Doing :
Safely operate a delivery vehicle and ensure timely deliveries of pre-sold products to customer accounts.
Skillfully rotate and arrange products on shelves, racks, displays, and in coolers to enhance visibility and accessibility.
Build pallet orders for trucks, ensuring efficient loading and unloading processes.
Manage the return of empty containers to suppliers as required.
Load dunnage, pallets, and load bars onto trucks for return to suppliers.
Maintain a friendly and respectful demeanor towards all customers and colleagues, fostering positive relationships.
Equipment Used :
Two-wheeled hand truck
Electric and hydraulic pallet jack
Physical Requirements :
Ability to walk and climb steps frequently.
Two-handed lifting of cases (up to 48 lbs.) from floor to overhead regularly.
Occasional two-handed lifting of quarter barrels (87 lbs.) from floor to 48 inches.
Occasional two-handed lifting of half barrels (185 lbs.) from floor to 36 inches.
Push and pull two-wheeled hand trucks and pallet jacks loaded with cases and / or barrels on level surfaces.
Frequently perform sustained squatting, kneeling, stooping, and bending while handling cases and barrels.
What You Will Need to Succeed :
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and write to accurately record and interpret inventory.
Basic math skills for counting and inventory management.
Valid and clean Class A driver's license.
Strong customer service skills.
