Non-Exempt, FT Position
General Summary:
Distributes supplies to proper departments on a par level system and records purchasing, receipts, and distribution of supplies. Prepares and files all purchasing related documentation. Requires attention to detail and ability to handle multiple situations at one time. Requires accuracy and organization skills. Makes pickups and deliveries within city or surrounding area. Assists in the loading and unloading of trucks. Checks quantities of good received. Performs other duties normally associated with the shipping and receiving department as required.
Essential Functions:

- Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Sort items to be delivered according to the delivery route.
- Properly handles and stores sterile items to maintain sterility

- Maintains all equipment utilized in transporting supplies in a manner that ensures reliable and safe operation.

- Maintains all areas of material storage in a neat and organized manner, utilizing proper rotation.
- Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
- Self Control
- Verifies all packing slips against purchase orders and forwards to accounts payable.
- Makes accurate corrections, deletions, and adjustments to quantities of materials stocked in relation to the PAR level replenishment systems throughout the system.
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
- Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
- Administer online purchasing systems.

Education and Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience of purchasing and warehouse receiving/issues procedures preferred.
Regulatory Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License in the State of Nebraska with less than three moving violations & no alcohol or drug-related violations.
- Must be insurable with TVHS’ vehicle insurance company.
