We are seeking a passionate and experienced Program Director to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of key programs and initiatives that align with TVNPA’s mission to strengthen the nonprofit sector and advocate for community-driven solutions.
Role Description
The Program Director will be responsible for managing and growing TVNPA’s diverse portfolio of programs, including monthly educational workshops, the Anti-Poverty Collaborative (APC), community outreach initiatives, and data collection efforts to measure impact. The role also involves supporting nonprofit advocacy and policy initiatives to address systemic challenges faced by organizations and the communities they serve.
This position requires a dynamic individual who excels in program development, stakeholder collaboration, and nonprofit advocacy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Tri-Valley community and nonprofit ecosystem, strong project management skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Knowledge of the Tri-Valley Community: Familiarity with the region’s nonprofit landscape, community needs, and key stakeholders.
• Nonprofit Advocacy & Policy: Experience or strong interest in nonprofit advocacy, policy work, or systemic change initiatives. • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft reports, presentations, and program materials.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including experience with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Leadership: Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to lead projects and coordinate teams.
Salary : $75,000 - $78,000
