Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Bus Driver to join our team. As a Bus Driver, you will have primary responsibility for the safety of passengers transported by Tri-Valley Heartland Express Bus.
About the Job
The Bus Driver position requires exceptional positive and professional customer service skills, as well as the ability to interact with the public on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain the safety and cleanliness of the bus.
- Perform applicable paperwork and marketing program services.
- Answer customer questions and collect fares.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Hold a valid Commercial Drivers License with Passenger Endorsement.
- Have a Current Medical Examination Card.
- Be at least 21 years old (if required to drive a bus across state lines).
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background search requirements.
- Participate in subsequent drug/alcohol testing and background searches as appropriate.
Training and Certification
We offer training and certification programs to help unqualified bus drivers obtain their CDL with passenger endorsement within 90 days from employment.
