- Support the preparation of meals, following established menus and recipes.
- Work closely with the Child Nutrition Services Manager to modify menu items for children with specific dietary requirements.
- Record and track meal and snack services, including production records and food temperatures.
- Participate in food purchases within established guidelines.
Key Safety and Sanitation Considerations:
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in the kitchen area.
- Follow State Health Department guidelines for food preparation and handling.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations to ensure necessary postings are clearly visible.
