Military Veterans and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply!  About This Role : The Director of Program Finance - Public Health is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing financial management, reporting, and strategic planning for government contracts and programs within Tria's Public Health Business Unit. This position ensures compliance with federal regulations (FAR, DFARS, CAS), manages program budgets, and partners with business unit leadership to drive financial performance and growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in government contracting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and cost accounting.    Responsibilities : Program Financial Management : Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for all government contracts and programs within the business unit. Oversee program budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis to ensure financial objectives are met.  Provide accurate and timely financial reports, including EACs (Estimates at Completion), ETCs (Estimate to Complete), and revenue recognition. Support proposal pricing, cost estimating, and financial modeling for new business opportunities.   Regulatory Compliance & Audit Support : Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other applicable government regulations. Collaborate with internal and external auditors, responding to DCAA / DCMA audits as required. Maintain strong internal controls and policies to mitigate financial risks. Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering : Work closely with program managers, operations teams, and senior leadership to drive financial strategy and performance. Provide financial insights to support executive decision-making and long-term business planning.  Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts and program finance managers. Cost & Pricing Strategy : Develop competitive and compliant pricing strategies for government proposals. Conduct cost-volume analysis and support contract negotiations with government agencies. Ensure indirect rate structures align with corporate and contract objectives. The “Need-to-Have” Skills & Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.  10 years of experience in government contracting finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of government contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ). Expertise in financial systems (Unanet and Oracle Planning and Budgeting). Experience with government cost accounting principles. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced GovCon environment. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical Skills. Professional Certifications : N / A Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field Clearance : Minimum Background Check Years of Professional Experience : 10 years of experience in government contracting finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role The “Nice-to-Have” Skills & Qualifications : Master's / MBA Degree. CPA, CFA, or CDFM certification. Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one. Experience in M&A financial due diligence within the GovCon space. ​ Why Tria?
