Part-time Mortgage Processor - with Experience Preferred

This is a part-time position offering flexible hours with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance and department needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Work directly with Mortgage Loan Officers.
• Enter Loan Application, prepare credit file, and follow compliance guidelines for disclosure purposes.
• Order title and appraisal as instructed.
• Prepare file for underwriting and work with MLO on conditions when necessary.
• Prepare Closing Disclosure and closing documents.
• Fund loan and prepare Closing loan file for sending to Investor for purchase.
• Process Purchase of file from Investor
• Follow up on Trailing Documents
• Scanning
• In addition, any request deemed necessary by the Manager of the Department or Mortgage Loan Officer.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous mortgage processing experience preferred
• Knowledge of Calyx Point, DU/LP and Title Documents would be helpful
• Clearly communicate and cooperate with others (internal and external) to produce desired results and meet goals
• Skillful at establishing priorities and channeling effort productively
• Demonstrate flexibility, versatility, commitment, and good judgement
• Ability to be well organized in an environment of diverse responsibilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
