At Triad, Project Managers are responsible for the oversight and completion of commercial and/or light industrial electrical projects, while ensuring project is completed on time and within our budget. Project Managers ensure customer satisfaction through direct communication with the owner/general contractor as well as any subcontractors. PM’s are responsible for knowing the complete scope for work for a project and must ensure quality control throughout the process.
Specific Job responsibilities:
- Manage the buyout and submittal process as new jobs take shape
-Understand the project schedule and deadlines as established by the GC/CM
- Support all team members to resolve problems and project shortfalls, while clearly communicating project needs and objectives
- Support and oversee subcontractors, while clearly communicating project needs and objectives as related to those subcontractors
- Work capably with various trades on project as required for the overall success of the project
- Organize labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, technology, and safety requirements
- Regularly review project performance and implement corrective measures as necessary
- Ensure materials, equipment and products are appropriate and accurate for installation
- Conduct site visits to confirm progress and work with job foreman to prepare for future tasks
- Ensure all projects are being performed in compliance with applicable codes, designs, and requirements
- Attend project meetings to confirm scheduling and task completion
- Maintain safe work conditions including the availability and usage of proper tools and resources according to OSHA requirements
-Change order pricing and management
-Work with accounts receivable on monthly billings, and help with follow ups to ensure timely collection
-Build and maintain relationships with customers
Position Requirements:
- Must be capable of managing multiple tasks for multiple projects concurrently
- Must be willing to travel as required for site visits and meetings
- Must be extremely organized
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be capable of making timely decisions and implementing a plan of action
-Must be able to use Microsoft office applications effectively (excel, word, etc.)
-Must be able to understand, & interpret cost reporting within Triad accounting software (Foundation software)
-Must be familiar with ACCUBID estimating software
Not required, but preferred:
-Experience working on projects that use BIM/VDC
-Estimating experience

Experience:
- Commercial Electrical Project Management/estimating: 3 years (Required)
- Undergraduate degree, associates degree, or trade school completion
