What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Scientist position at Triad Engineering?
What You'll Do
As a Staff Scientist with guidance and support from senior scientists, you'll gain experience in the planning, designing and implementation of diverse projects. Exposure to a wide variety of responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
Ensure safety is always prioritized
Perform assignments requiring the application of standard criteria, procedures, and techniques
Utilize observations, samples and specimens to collect data
Document and organize observations, samples and specimens in the lab and fieldwork
Prepare reports and correspondence related to assigned projects
Communicate effectively with professional staff regarding projects
Participate in business development and customer service
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology or other appropriate scientific discipline required
Experience with sampling of environment media required
2-5 years of industry experience preferred
HAZWOPER 40 Hour preferred
Hazardous/regulated material inspection/assessment certification preferred
Must possess advanced reading, writing and math skills
Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments
Salary : $52,000 - $62,400
