Hours : Monday - Thursday 5 : 00 pm to 5 : 00 am and Friday 2 : 00 pm to 2 : 00 am
Triad Manufacturing is looking for a motivated and experienced Mill Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our milling department. The Mill Lead will ensure that production schedules are met efficiently, oversee a team of operators, and maintain high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise the milling team, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Set up, operate, and monitor milling equipment, ensuring optimal machine performance.
- Train and mentor mill operators on equipment use, safety procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with supervisors and management to adjust production processes and schedules as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of machines and finished products to ensure quality control.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or process issues, working with the maintenance team when necessary.
- Ensure all employees follow safety protocols and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate records of production, machine maintenance, and downtime.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
