About the role
- The Case Planning Specialist is responsible for preparing customized annuity sales proposals for Triad Members. In this role, you’ll develop a deep understanding of various annuity products and serve as an expert on these offerings. A key aspect of this position involves assisting Members in navigating different annuity products and providing guidance on the best options for their clients' needs. Additionally, you will work to build and strengthen relationships with Members and partnering insurance carriers.
What you'll do
- Member Customer Service
- Provide outstanding service to Members.
- Answer daily phone calls from Members, offering guidance on annuity-related questions.
- Respond to email requests by addressing issues, answering questions, and running illustrations to ensure quick turnaround times.
- Go above and beyond to find solutions for Member needs.
- Annuity Product Knowledge
- Develop a thorough understanding of all annuity products and carriers.
- Use resources like Annuity Rate Watch and Index Standard to stay informed about available products and carriers.
- Participate in meetings with carrier representatives to stay updated on product changes and industry developments.
- Proactively investigate and address questions from other Triad departments or Members' offices.
- Day-to-Day Case Planning Tasks
- Review financial statements, information, and documentation to analyze financial needs and objectives, providing appropriate annuity solutions.
- Handle advanced cases, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems promptly to deliver exceptional service.
- Review and analyze case scenarios for replacement opportunities.
