Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on light industrial equipment
- Conduct on-location preventative maintenance and repairs
- Inspect, test, and listen to machinery to identify malfunctions
- Dismantle machine parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other issues
- Install new or repaired parts; clean and lubricate machinery components
- Organize repairs and maintenance in similar locations to maximize efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, parts, supplies, and daily activities
- Submit daily work orders, agendas, timecards, and parts orders
- Treat company equipment responsibly and follow preventive maintenance guidelines
- Travel up to an average of 300 miles per day
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Handle exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical shock risks, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Technical Certification or Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance, or a related Field (Preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of Experience in Diagnosing, Repairing, and Preventative Maintenance on -Light Industrial Equipment
- Experience in Performing On-Location Repairs
- Experience in using Diagnostic Tools and Software to Identify Issues
- Ability to Read and Interpret Technical Manuals, Schematics, and Blueprints
- Competency in using Hand Tools, Power Tools, and Precision Measurement Tools
- Ability to Regularly Lift and/or Move up to 50 Pounds and Frequently Lift and/or move up to 100 Pounds
- Capable of handling exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical shock risks, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals
- Must be able to travel up to an average of 300 miles per day
- Excellent attendance and dependability
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Availability for weekend and after-hours work, including emergency call-outs
