Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) to join our team. The LCAS will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support and counseling to individuals struggling with addiction. This position requires a strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques, addiction medicine, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients to develop effective treatment plans. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting recovery and enhancing the quality of life for those in their care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions focused on addiction recovery.
  • Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to support clients in overcoming substance use disorders.
  • Collect and analyze data related to client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, including documentation of treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to ICD-9 coding standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, including home community care services.
  • Engage in research activities to stay updated on best practices in addiction counseling and treatment methodologies.
  • Provide education and resources for clients and their families regarding addiction issues and recovery strategies.
  • Assist in the development of community outreach programs aimed at raising awareness about addiction and available resources.

Experience

  • Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
  • Leadership experience in clinical settings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance abuse counseling or a related field.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
