What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist (CSR, Customer Service Representative) position at Triadelphia Veterinary Clinic?

We are a fast paced AAHA accredited animal hospital looking to add valuable Veterinary Customer Service Representatives to our team.

As an AAHA accredited hospital, we give our patients the best care and our clients the best service possible. The hospital is a fear free environment as well and that reflects through all of our staff.

Our Veterinary Customer Service Representatives are an extremely important part of our team as they are often the first and last line of communication to our clients.

Some tasks a CSR is expected to preform include but are not limited to:
- Multi-tasking
- Answer busy phones
- Triage patients via phone and at check in
- Have great computer skills; scanning, emailing, faxing, use of veterinary practice management software (Impromed Infinity), etc.
- Clean throughout the hospital
- Communicate with clients and coworkers in a professional and constructive manner
- Insert charges and collect payment
- Navigate a medical record

Requirements for the position include:
- Multi-tasking and organization skills
- Extreme attention to detail/detail oriented
- Maintaining a positive attitude and outlook during stressful situations
- 1-3 years of customer service experience (veterinary experience is highly sought after, but will be willing to train the exceptional candidate)
- Great positive communication skills
- Ability to collaborate successfully in teamwork while also maintaining the capability to work independently
- Flexible schedule including evening and weekend (Saturday only) availability
- Ability to be prompt and on time for scheduled shifts

Applicants must be available to work a variety of shifts (evenings and Saturdays especially) and be willing to work collaboratively for shift coverages understanding that this is a hospital setting which may require employees to provide clients and patients care after hospital hours.
