Senior Systems Integrator
Location: Chantilly, VA or Springfield, VA
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Integrator to lead and oversee the integrity of the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) and Allied System for Geospatial Intelligence (ASG) systems-of-systems enterprise. This role requires expertise in planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of solutions for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid services within complex infrastructures.
As a Senior Systems Integrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) delivery while integrating large-scale systems across various governmental and defense agencies. You will guide mid- and junior-level team members and ensure alignment of enterprise architectures, technical roadmaps, and integration strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee systems integration activities across the NSG, ASG, and federal agencies to ensure seamless GEOINT operations.

Provide a total systems perspective, including an in-depth understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of cloud, on-premise, and hybrid services.

Oversee the preparation of engineering plans and site installation technical design packages.

Guide mid- and junior-level contractor Systems Integrators.

Ensure compliance with security, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture requirements.

Collaborate with government program offices, industry partners, and mission stakeholders to integrate various sensor phenomenology data.

Align program, segment, and project plans with technical roadmaps and schedules to ensure successful capability deployment.

Maintain technical roadmaps for Sensor Programs, ensuring alignment with evolving agency guidance and strategic initiatives.

Facilitate end-to-end system integration and acceptance necessary for Major System Acquisitions (MSAs).

Support technical reviews, technology readiness assessments, and Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to assess and resolve enterprise integration challenges.

Provide expertise on service virtualization, API integration, and automated testing solutions.

Identify and mitigate enterprise-level risks, opportunities, and integration challenges.

Assist in transitioning new services and capabilities to operations, identifying gaps and opportunities for automation.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related STEM field (or equivalent additional experience).

Extensive senior-level experience in systems integration within government or industry, specifically in integrating large, complex System of Systems (SoS) or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments.

Proven ability to work within cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures.

Working experience with NGA/NRO joint integration activities.
Desired Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related STEM field.

Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), processes, tools, and languages.

Previous experience working with NGA, NSG, or ASG programs and projects.

Experience in sensor integration across defense, intelligence, and commercial partners.

Strong understanding of cross-segment and cross-agency interface definitions, requirements decomposition, and enterprise-level verification and validation.

Familiarity with enterprise risk management and integration-related risk mitigation strategies.
