What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative (Part-time) position at Triangle Communications?
Participate as a productive member of our Customer Experience team to deliver exceptional customer service by providing solutions to meet the customers’ needs.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for new and existing members regarding the purchase, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all services. Provide information in response to inquiries about products and services the company offers.
- Sell products and services by recommending a complete technology solution to best fit the member’s needs by articulating features and benefits of products and services. Use techniques such as up-selling, suggestive selling, and offering promotions to make sales.
- Provide exceptional member service in terms of quality, timeliness, and assistance to potential and existing members. Answer member questions about features, products, services, availability, speeds, and options. Ensure proper follow up is completed to provide service that exceeds the member's expectations.
- Maintain billing records, documents, and other supporting information in appropriate files. Post adjustments to subscriber records. Close and balance service orders for prepararation of subscriber telephone bills. Prepare and submit monthly reports of consumer accounts and reconcile records.
- Prepare and process information on uncollectable accounts receivable. Verify and age accounts receivable. Prepare summaries from accounts receivable records for internal distribution.
- Establish and maintain key accounts by making outgoing calls.
- Stay current on trends in our industries to create the best experience for our members to be known as product experts.
- Perform all work in compliance with company procedures, tariffs, and telecom regulations.
