Founded in 1977, Triangle Contractors is an independently owned, growing full-service mechanical contractor focused on delivering turnkey HVAC and mechanical services to a strong base of commercial, and residential customers. Triangle is located in Morganton, North Carolina, and services many customers throughout Central and Western North Carolina.

We are seeking Lead Commercial and Residential HVAC Installers to join our team! This position is strongly focused on HVAC installations, and we are accepting applicants with senior-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• May cut, build, and install ductwork and/or furnaces, as needed
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Guide, advise, and assist with oversight of the installation process on assigned team(s)
• Assist with mentoring and training entry-level Installer Helpers
  
  

Qualifications

• 4 years of previous HVAC installation experience
• Freon certifications
• Knowledge of HVAC control wiring, refrigeration, and gas piping, system start-up, and operating procedures
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Strong customer service and customer interaction skills on job sites
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in a supervisory, management, or mentoring capacity is a plus
• Previous experience installing in commercial settings is also a plus
