What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Specialist 2/FT/Nashua position at Triangle Credit Union?
Role:
To address minor issues relating to the upkeep and maintenance of the company facilities at all locations supplementing the general maintenance of cleaners and tradesmen when and where required.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Provide project oversight as directed by Facilities Manager to include construction projects, special orders, ATM/ITM maintenance, renovations, department expansions and other projects as needed.
Conduct daily routine maintenance where applicable (general maintenance, electrical, bulbs, supplies, storage, disposal of equipment, etc.) Provide higher level support for construction and general maint.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience
Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.
Education
(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
