This is a full-time position with Los Angeles Unified School District. The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in managing environmental investigations and remediation projects, with a focus on oversight of environmental site assessments, compliance with regulatory standards, and coordination of contractor work. They will assist in contract development, manage project budgets and schedules, and provide technical advice to the Office of Environmental Health & Safety (OEHS) Management. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing environmental reviews for individual projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols. With at least seven years of experience in the field, the candidate should be proficient in working with agencies like DTSC, RWQCB, and SCAQMD. A degree in Geology, Engineering, or a related field is required, and a California Professional Registration is preferred.
