Position:  Manager of Clinical Supports

Reports to: Chief Integrity Officer

Hours: 40 hours per week | Salaried/Exempt

Location: Broadway - Malden, MA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Assist with intake assessments that include, but are not limited to, record reviews (Life Plans, ISPs, IEPs, evaluations with outside providers), current placement observations, job readiness inventories, and Functional Behavioral Assessments.
  • Act as a support for multiple off-site locations including transition services, community services programs, residential services and career services in relation to staff and individual needs.
  • Create treatment plans based on assessment results and recommend placements.
  • Develop Behavior Support Plans and Guidelines based on assessment results that are suitable for carrying out within a small group setting using Positive Behavioral Intervention Support. Particular attention to creating a transition plan to fade staff supports in employment and/or community settings should be clearly delineated.
  • Provide ongoing training and supervision for staff as they participate in the development and implementation of universal Positive Behavior Support strategies as well as targeted and intensive PBS plans.
  • Participates and assists with Triangle’s Positive Behavior Supports Leadership Team and other relevant committees.
  • Analyze both behavior and ISP goal data collected on at least a monthly basis, with individual teams. Make modifications to programming as necessary.
  • Work with the other Manager of Clinical Supports and the Quality Assurance Director to ensure clinical supports are in compliance with DDS and agency policies.
  • Attends and contributes to transition services, community services programs, residential services and career services staff meetings as necessary.
  • Participate in relevant meetings with DDS, schools, or other appropriate funding partners.
  • Provide staff education and clinical oversight in a manner that is consistent with Triangle's trauma-informed and abuse prevention-oriented values and culture.
  • Completes TAPS instructor training. 
  • Conducts classes based on curriculum in schools, disability agencies and other organizations on topics such as self advocacy, self defense, boundary setting, healthy relationships, social media for students and staff. 
  • Teaches the curriculum on zoom and other online platforms. 
  • Exhibit flexibility with Triangle’s Abuse Prevention department scheduling. 
  • Support administrative responsibilities as assigned. 
  • Ability and willingness to support self-advocacy and self-determination.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Meet with the Chief Integrity Officer on at least a monthly basis to complete supervision.

 

Qualifications        
 

  • Master’s level candidates with ABA experience will be considered, current BCBA licensure would be a strong additional asset
  • A minimum 2 years working with transition age students and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities, and other developmental delays who may have a history of challenging behavior
  • Demonstrated experience creating and implementing Positive Behavior Support strategies – including targeted and intensive PBS plans – that include a focus on antecedent management interventions
  • Experience supervising and providing feedback to direct care staff
  • MA Driver’s License with a strong driving history
