ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist the Manufacturing Engineer with all aspects of the part-specific process, including resource planning and project timelines, to ensure customer requirements and quoted standards are met
- Update and maintain the production job packets, which include item masters, bills of material, and routers, etc
- Build process documentation and work instructions utilizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Students will enhance their professional presentation and communication skills, both oral and written, by providing a formal business presentation on their projects, and by working with all levels of the organization
- Support Continuous Improvement Projects and lean manufacturing principles on the production floor
Education And/or Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline (Manufacturing or Mechanical preferred). Proficient in basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Strong interpersonal skills
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card status
