Job Overview:
As a Concession Stand Worker at our smoothie cart at WakeMed Soccer Park, you will play a key role in delivering an enjoyable experience for guests at various events. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up the cart, preparing smoothies and snacks, serving customers, handling payments, and ensuring the cart is clean and closed properly at the end of each event. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up the concession cart and prepare products before each event.
- Make smoothies and serve a variety of prepared snacks and drinks to customers.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cart throughout the event.
- Close and clean the concession cart after the event, ensuring everything is properly stored.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guests' needs with a friendly attitude.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age (due to alcohol sales).
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently or alongside another team member as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Prior customer service or food service experience is a plus but not required.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
Schedule:
- Mainly Friday & Saturday evenings from March - October

UNC Football Stadium (18 ) - Chapel Hill, NC
Compensation:
Starting: $12/hr tips
Work Environment:
- Most events will be outdoors during a variety of events, so the ability to handle different weather conditions is important.
