What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk- Full Time Position Weekends and Nights position at Trianon Bonita Bay Hotel?
Front Desk position Is a Direct, Extensive Customer Service Position. The Position requires many facets as listed below:
Knowledge of the area.
Making, Cancelling and Changing Reservations
Checking in arriving Guests and Checking out departing Guests. Operation experience is a bonus 1-3 years preferred.
Handling guest payments in cash, counting change, balancing cash and credit cards
Assisting Guests with upgrades, room moves, billing issues, directions, arranging Taxi’s, answering emails, and guest inquiries, guest deliveries, luggage,
Directing calls to other guests and/or radioing information to in house departments and outside vendors when necessary
Ability to count and take inventory of Front Office materials and supplies
Other Duties deemed necessary by the Hotel Manager or GM
Abilities
Must be able to Read, Write and speak English, bi-lingual is a bonus
Excellent Customer Service Skills, compassionate nature and ability to multi task.
Able to comprehend &, work a computer
Punctuality is extremely important as well as flexibility and able to stand for 4-8 hours a day
Ability to communicate and work closely with other Team Members or working alone
Must be able to lift, stand and climb stairs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
