DISC Surgery Center is seeking a full-time PreOp/PACU Charge Nurse for our Thousand Oaks location. Our Thousand Oaks location has two operating rooms and specializes in spine, orthopedic, and pain management surgeries.

In this position, you will:

• Lead and manage the clinical team in the Pre-Op/PACU area to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care to meet identified outcomes.
• Direct nursing interventions, ensuring patient safety and readiness for discharge.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and staff to set and achieve care goals.
• Ensure adherence to center policies and procedures in patient care delivery.
• Supervise and mentor clinical team members, promoting professional growth and effective teamwork.
• Oversee the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Participate in staff onboarding, education, and compliance with OSHA guidelines.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of Pre-Op/PACU, including emergency care responses and staffing assignments.
• Maintain accurate patient and team records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Foster a positive, professional, and compassionate environment for patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with valid state license
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
• Experience in Pre-Op/PACU setting
• BLS/ACLS certification
• Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills

Pay Range: $75.00 - $85.00/hour
