DISC Surgery Center is seeking a per diem EVS Aide for our Walnut Creek location. This position will need to have availability to work 1-3 shifts per week from 4pm - 8pm PST.
In this position, you will:
- Perform general cleaning of the facility, patient care area and staff spaces
- Equipment maintenance
- Handle specimen transport
- Assist with room turnover and case set up
- Assist in patient transfers to/from the OR, including discharge
- Load, unload and stock supplies
- Provide pre-op support and aid the OR team in positioning of patients and preparation
Qualifications
To ensure success in this role, you should have:
- Prior EVS background required, adhering to strict infection control guidelines and comprehensive understanding of OSHA guidelines
- The ability to lift 25 lbs
- Familiarity with medical terminology, equipment, and operating room protocols and preferred
- Sterile processing expertise is a plus!
Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00/hour
