Registered Nurses- Pre OP/PACU - Per Diem positions available
DISC Surgery Center in Walnut Creek is currently accepting employment resumes for the night shift for Pre OP/PACU Nurses. DISC is California’s premier provider of spine care, orthopedics, pain management and sports medicine. With a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center in Marina del Rey and a full-service clinic in Marina del Rey, DISC has set a new standard for high-acuity, minimally invasive spine surgery and orthopedic sports medicine surgery in an outpatient setting, both safely and on a cost-effective basis
DISC is seeking motivated conscious individuals to join our Team!
- Unrestricted CA RN license.
- At least 2 years acute care pre-op, PACU, ED, or ICU experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS.
- Experience Neuro Spine and Ortho a plus.
- Must have excellent Safety, Quality, Infection Control, Risk Management Skills.
- Functions as a patient advocate.
- Participates as a team member to support the total perioperative process.
- Maintains patient privacy and dignity.
- Excellent communication skills for patient, family and team.
- Excellent phone etiquette required.
- Competent MS Word, and basic excel.
- Reliable, team player.

Degree of Supervision Provided to Position: Must be self-directed, able to work independently within scope of practice, and works under direction of the Clinical Leader.
