DISC Surgery Center is seeking a full-time PreOp/PACU RN for our Newport Beach location. This position is required to work Monday - Friday with flexibility on shift time.
In this position, you will:
- Monitor post-operative patients' conditions and manage their pain levels
- Assess patients' vital signs and airways post-surgery
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
To ensure success in this role, you should have:
- Valid RN license
- BCLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in airway management and post-anesthesia recovery
- 2 years’ experience in acute care, PACU, ED, home health, or ICU experience
- Previous experience in behavioral health, occupational health or primary care preferred
Pay Range: $60.00 - $65.00/hour
