DISC Surgery Center is seeking a per diem Sterile Processing Technician for our Thousand Oaks location.
In this position, you will:
- Maintain instruments and equipment
- Prepare instrumentation, equipment, and sterile supplies for scheduled surgical procedures.
- Provide patient care to meet identified patient outcomes and achieve the center's goals as directed by the Administrator/Director of Nurses
Qualifications
To ensure success in this role, you should have:
- Prior experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Certification in Sterile Processing
- Understanding of sterilization and high-level disinfection technologies, including industry-standardized principles and practices in sterilization and disinfection
- Current BCLS Certification
- The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl and lift
Pay Range: $28.00 - $40.00/hour
