As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care from their first interaction with our clinic. You will be responsible for a variety of front office duties aimed at providing a positive experience for our patients and visitors.Key Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility with a friendly demeanor, offering support and guidance to patients navigating insurance-related concerns.
- Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from their first interaction.
- Efficiently manage patient check-in and check-out processes, demonstrating attentiveness to the patients' needs and providing assistance as required.
- Schedule appointments with a personalized approach, accommodating patient preferences and ensuring clear communication regarding appointment details.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment, ensuring that all common areas and workspaces are tidy and welcoming for patients and staff alike.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
